Webinar: Red Meat and Cancer Response Daren Williams, Sr. Executive Director, Communications, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, shared insights on dealing with international reports on red and processed meat causing cancer. Key factors to the success of their efforts in responding were preparation of the support teams internally and media training development of key beef advocates across many slices of the beef world. In the Q&A segment, Daren address some of the details of the process at the NCBA and the issues facing a PR professional on the next crisis. Key take away is “being prepared before something happens.”
