Ryan Goodman, (aka @BeefRunner) shares lessons learned & insights from the Pride in Agriculture campaign to help drive stronger, more productive conversations on hot topics.

New Prague, MN – In recent years, cultural awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion has taken a front seat in conversations throughout society. As part of these conversations, we have seen that topics surrounding diversity, especially in relation to LGBTQ+ people and allyship, aren’t always well-received in agriculture and rural communities.

Launched in June 2022, the Pride in Agriculture campaign series, spearheaded by Ryan Goodman (@BeefRunner), focuses on elevating the conversation of contributions of LGBTQ+ people and allies to diversity in agriculture and rural communities to create more inclusive cultures across the industry.

As part of the Agricultural Relations Council Harvesting Knowledge Webinar Series, Ryan Goodman will share lessons learned from the conversations sparked by this campaign and how this insight can be used to drive stronger, more productive conversations on hot topics through the work of public relations and reputation management.
