As to your reference to Florida living, while it's normally sunshine and Mickey Mouse it's also mosquitoes & air conditioning! Luckily for me, the National Watermelon Promotion Board happens to be located here, but we represent the entire watermelon industry of growers, shippers and importers. We are charged with thinking of watermelon all day, every day, at every meal and every occasion. 

 

For instance, with the influx of Florida watermelons still on the market, we urge folks to Save a Pumpkin, Carve a Watermelon this Halloween!

Not necessary, I pulled her bio from the UF website and will catch up with her at the conference.  I find out today if my second daughter gets accepted there.  We know someone in common, Dr. App, he brought me to UF a couple of times to speak when I was with Doane.
